Ways to Honor God in Your Business Success

Start Your Day With God

We all know running a business can take up a lot of time every day. But to succeed, getting God’s advice is wisdom in action. Seek God through prayer and reading the Word.

You alone know when is the best time for you. It could be in the morning, before you start your day. Make sure you do this often throughout the day as you keep communicating with God.

The psalmist in Psalms 91:1 states that dwelling in the secret place of God is the safest place to be. Read the complete psalm and see how great it is to always be in His presence.

Give To Others In Need To Glorify God in Business

God shows in His Word that He will bless those who care for the orphans and widows. There are many ways you can do your part as a businesswoman to give back to these individuals who need you.

Pray and ask God to show you which organizations He wants you to be part of.

Seek God’s Advice When Making All Decisions

Never get into the habit of thinking you don’t need God when making decisions.

We are all guilty of controlling what we can handle and only praying to God when we need Him.

That is not wise because our Lord cares about everything in our lives.

Jesus, our perfect example, often went and prayed to His Father. If He did this, who are we to try to run our business on our own?

Take at Least A Day off For God

Working seven days a week is not good. Making sure that you have a day off is wise. Remember that you only have one body. If you overwork it, you will soon be no help to yourself or others.

Choose the day that is best for you. It doesn’t matter which one you choose.

You will put God first as you care for His temple, your body. This is also a good time to take extra time to relax and spend with Him. You were so busy with your business the other six days.

Help Spread God’s Word to the World.

When God gave you your business, it was not for your benefit alone. With so many ways to get the Word of God to a dying world, you can do your part.

Before Christ left this world, he told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. You might not see yourself as a preacher, but you can play your part through your business.

How did you ask? By using some of the money God gave you. With so many Christian ministries today, you can ask God to show you which ones He wants you to be part of worldwide.

We all have to remember that the business we run is not our own. Never forget that God gave it to you and is the one blessing you with finances.

Always include sharing in your business expenses.

What Does God Say About Business Success?

When we glorify God in our business, we can be sure that success will follow because of our obedience.

In any business, our success lies in making a profit.

As a Christian, your aim should be to make a yearly profit. If this is not what you desire, why have a business? This is why you should carry out the five functions mentioned above.

Now let’s look at 12 Bible verses that show God’s point of view on business success.

Learn one each month and put it into practice. Get a great handle on entrepreneurship as you give to others. Also, spread God’s Word worldwide, and keep God first in everything you do.
