Ways to Honoring God in Your Business Success

Start Your Day With God

We all know running a business can take up lots of time daily. But, to become a success getting your advice from God is wisdom in action. Seeking God through prayer and reading the Word is the way to go.

You alone know when is the best time for you. It could be in the morning before starting your day. Make sure that you get this advice often throughout the day, as you keep communicating with God.

The psalmist in Psalms 91:1 states that dwelling in the secret place of God is the safest place to be. You should read the complete psalm and observe how great it is to be always in His presence.

Give To Others In Need To Glorify God in Business

God shows in his word that he will bless those who take care of the orphans and widows. There are many ways you can do your part as a businesswoman to give back to these individuals who need you.

Pray and ask God to show you the organizations that He wants you to be a part of.

Seek God’s Advice When Making All Decisions

You should never get into the habit of thinking that you do not need God when making decisions.

We are all guilty of controlling the things we can handle and, only praying to God when we need HIm.

That is not a wise thing to do because our Lord cares about everything in our lives.

Jesus our perfect example many times would go and pray to His Father. If He did this who are we to try to run our business on our own?

Take at Least A Day off For God

Working seven days a week is not a good thing to do. Making sure that you have a day off is wise. Remember that you only have one body. If you overwork it you will soon be no help to yourself or others around you.

Choose the day that is best for you. It does not matter which one you take.

You will be putting God first as you take care of His temple which is your body. This is also a good time to take some extra time relaxing and spending with Him. You were so busy the other six days with your business.

Help Spread God’s Word to the World.

When God gave you your business it was not for your benefit alone. With so many ways to get the Word of God to a dying world, you can do your part.

Before Christ left this world he told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. You might not be a preacher in your eyes, but you can play your part through your business.

How did you ask? By using some of your monies God gave to you. With so many Christian ministries today you can ask God to show you those He wants you to be a part of worldwide.

We all have to remember that the business we run is not our own. Never forget that God gave it to you and is the one who is blessing you with the finances.

Always make sharing part of your business expenses.

What Does God Say About Business Success?

When we glorify God in our business we can be sure that success will follow, because of our obedience.

Making a profit is where our success lies in any business.

I must mention that as a Christian your aim should be to make a yearly profit. If this is not what you desire why have a business? This is what should cause you to carry out the five functions mentioned above.

Let’s now take a look at 12 bible verses that show God’s point of view on business success.

You can learn one every month and put it into practice. Get a great handle on entrepreneurship as you give to others. Also, spread God’s Word to the whole world, and keep God first in everything you do.
